Coos Head Forest Products structural timbers and dimension lumber are approved for use above ground, in ground or in freshwater. Depending on the species and specific use, we treat with ACQ Preserve®, or CCA SupaTimber® preservative.

Structural timbers come in #1, #2 & Better and Selected Structural grades.  Typically, a select structural grade is used where building codes require greater shear strength for a particular building design.

• 6 × 6 through 6 × 12 up to 34’ is stocked in #1&Btr grade (a majority is FOHC)
• 2×4 through 2×12 up to 24’ in a Premium Home Center grade
• 2×4 #1&Btr up to 24’
• 2×6 Select Structural
• 4×4 8’-20’, 4×6 through 4×12 up to 24’ long
• 1 × 2 through 1 × 12 up to 20’ in Select Merchantable
