Above Ground Exposed
Above ground use is defined as use of preservative treated wood products that do not come in direct contact with soil, fresh, or salt water. They may, however, be exposed to weather or in direct contact with concrete, such as in sill plate applications. All of our structural timbers and dimension lumber, which are treated with our Preserve® preservatives, are suited for above ground use.
Preserve® lumber preservative is a waterborne, alkaline copper quaternary (ACQ) preservative system developed to provide long-term protection of wood exposed in exterior applications, such as landscaping, fencing, and retaining walls.
